Biographies:

William C. Thorson with Thorson & Associates will spend the 26^th discussing Capital Funds.  It will be a full day session.  Mr. Thorson retired from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development where he served for 36 years at HUD Headquarters in Washington, D.C. He is currently a senior consultant with Thorson and Associates, LLC.  He provides a wide variety of consulting services across the country including Capital Fund, Capital Fund Financing, procurement, physical needs assessments, strategic planning, public housing project development, HUD Office of Inspector General audit resolutions and expert witness testimony training.

Eric P. Hanson with Mahoney, Silverman & Cross, LLC in Joliet IL will spend the morning of the 27^th answering your questions in “Ask the Attorney”. Eric practices in the areas of government and municipal law, land use, litigation and appellate practice.  Eric has also developed a specific practice in the area of affordable housing.  He represents numerous public housing authorities throughout the State of Illinois and is a frequent speaker at affordable housing workshops and conferences.  Eric has given presentations for IAHA and Illinois NAHRO.
