1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. – Special Agent Adrian Guerrero, IL State Police – Drug Identification – Join Special Agent Adrian Guerrero while he provides you with the tools, you’ll need to identify the different types of drugs that individuals are using. This is a good session for anyone in your housing authority that deals with clients.

With a focus on reflection and empowerment, Dr. Kerri Burchill explores how we spend our energy, what we can influence, what is out of our control and provides a space for pause to clarify our priorities. Kerri introduces easy-to-understand concepts that empower leaders, with the ultimate goal of significantly influencing others.
This is a highly interactive session. Participants will walk away with leadership strategies to implement in their work. The audience will explore how to convey difficult messages in ways that clarify accountabilities and help move forward. The group will explore new perspectives relating to how we connect with difficult clients, gain their buy-in and their cooperation.
The audience will engage in fast-paced discussions that pulls answers from the room. The participants share best practices, have opportunity to validate what they are doing that works, and be stretched to think differently about how they respond to the competing demands and priorities in their leadership.
