Our speaker had to change the time from 1pm to 10am for this session.
IAHA is pleased to partner with the State of Illinois Department of Human Rights to provide FREE training to our members regarding sexual harassment.
Many people have preconceived ideas about what constitutes sexual harssment in the workplace. In today's society there is no room for doubt. Employees need to know for certain what sexual harassment is and what to do when they are confronted with it.
Participants will engage in a series of thoughtful discussions and exercises about the different perceptions of appropriate and inappropriate conduct. Participants will learn about two types of sexual harassment: quid pro quo and hostile work environment. The training will focus on how to employ several precautionary measures to avoid misunderstandings and accusations of sexual harassment in the workplace.
