With over 25 years of experience working directly with nonprofits, Cheryl is an accomplished leader known for her ability to open doors, make sales, and create long-term relationships. She has also served on the CO and MN Nonprofit Associations' insurance agency boards. She holds a Life and Health insurance license.

Cruz Mendez, First Nonprofit

Cruz Mendez, Marketing Director at First Nonprofit, has been a pivotal member of the organization for over 20 years. A DePaul University graduate with a bachelor's degree in marketing, Cruz began her career at First Nonprofit as a marketing summer intern. She has since driven the organization's agency membership growth from 800 to 2,300.
